Genesis Name Meaning
Gender: Unisex
Origin: Greek
Meaning: Beginning, Birth
1. Meaning of the name "Genesis"
Genesis is the name of the first book of the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Bible, traditionally thought to have been written by Moses). English through the Latin word, eventually derived from the Greek and Greek (γέεσεσ) means the origin of the Muslims, the creator, from the gígnesthai Times (γεηθείηθεί) means the person who is born.
The Greek word was chosen as a literal translation of the Hebrew Berēšīṯ (בְּרֵאשִׁית‎) meaning “in the beginning” (which are the first three words of the text, i.e., In the beginning, God created heaven and earth. Let's) Both Greek and Latin words can be traced to the Proto-Indo-European root * gen (e) - meaning a game to produce, forget, create (Pok. 373).
In other words, Genesis is a very old concept of creativity. The Book of Genesis in the Old Testament narrates God’s Creation and the origin of His chosen people. As a name given to women, Genesis is actually quite modern. It is used primarily in the United States.
2. Jenesis
The name of a girl (also less commonly used as Jenesis's son's name) is derived from Hebrew, and the meaning of the name Jenesis is "derived, born". Jenesis is a variant of Genesis (Hebrew).
